Another Metric Century is done. It was a great event. Good weather and a really good turnout. We made about $900 apiece for the Scholarship and the Trail. Mission accomplished. I am proud of my little event. If it doubles up again next year, it really will be an event.
Now I am ready for the Florida Bicycle Safari. I really need this break. The forecast for the week looks good. Warm days and cool nights. Only one day with rain in the forecast, but it is Florida. This is normally the driest month of the year down there. Maybe we won't have all those showers to get everything wet like that other year. It will be good food and riding and friends.
