With this last campout, the marathon of summer fun is done. We started with a trip to Disney. Then an overnight backpacking trip for each boy. Then an overnight canoe camping trip for each. Then we camped at Monte Sano and visited Huntsville. Now finally we camped at Gulf State Park and played on the beach. I am very tired. Last night I hobbled off to bed to rest in my memory foam mattress. I had a bath for the first time this week. Showers just aren't the same. I still have a lot to do to clean up our equipment. I'll probably get started soon.
