Riding togs...
Bev bought some moisture managment clothes to ride in yesterday! I am impressed. Maybe she is enjoying the riding.

Bev
Bev has ridden the bike twice now and seems to enjoy herself. We need to find a place closer to home to ride. The Chief Ladiga trail is fun but an hour away. Maybe next time we will just go down to Wind Creek State Park. The ride in Georgia is a long way off and waiting till next year for the Bike Safari is too long. I need to get her confidence up about riding on roads now.

Goodbye Sugar

Our little Jack Russell terrier Sugar died. Antifreeze poisoning. Intentional or accidental,
who knows. We will miss
her!I got bev a Burley Koosah. She seems to really have fun on it. No long distance stuff yet. Maybe we can do a tour later this year. I have finally got all the adjustments so it rides best for her.

Looking ahead...
Now that the Safari is history, I am missing it. Mike was right, I am changed. I am searching the tours for the remainder of 2005 looking for another ride to make. I see the BRAG in Newnan in October as a real possibility. I might try to do the BRAT but that means some considerable climbing. All the better for me really because the intense workout would mean weight loss.
I have tried to interest Bev in a recumbent bike that she could join in the tour but she resists. That typical resistance where she finds some reason why there isn't time or something. I should give up and just invest in my own fitness.
