Air Intake Hose Replacement

During the process of replacing the air filter, the air intake hose was torn. It already had a long crack in it and it was very stiff. The replacement was affordable and I am hoping the CEL P0171 code about lean fuel will resolve given proper airflow around the MAF sensor. Update: Just checked with David and the Engine light did not come back on and they just drove back to Cullman.

Stuff we did on a coldish day

We got the new motor installed in the garage door opener and the other opener adjusted. Now MawMaw can open the garage door and get her car out. Just in time too since David has come home for the Thanksgiving break. I also got fuel purchased and charged batteries where needed. Also David's car needed MAF sensor cleaned and air filter replaced. In that process we found damage of the intake hose. SO I've ordered a replacement. But the main effort went into those pine thickets that have taken over the middle of the field by the cedar tree. It is going to take a long time to get them under control

Adieu to Charit Creek and Big South Fork

This week I spent a few days in Big South Fork and spent nights at the Charit Creek Lodge for what will likely be the last time. As before, I met some lovely people and had some great conversation. Something that I really treasure.
